  • Chart 3.34: in 2003 England had 22.3% population with BMI>30 (obese) - the highest level in Europe.
  • For Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, figures are based on health examinations, rather than self-reported information. Obesity estimates derived from health examinations are generally higher and more reliable than those coming from self-reports, because they preclude any misreporting of people's height and weight.
  • Chart 3.35 & 3.36: Greece has double Englands fruit and vegetable consumption
  • Greece: 422kg per person pa v. England 207kg per person pa.
